CAND Newspaper works with Hau Giang and Soc Trang Provinces
PSNews – A delegation of the Public Security (CAND) Newspaper led by its Editor-in-Chief Major General Pham Khai recently visited and worked with the Police Departments of Hau Giang and Soc Trang Provinces.
At the meetings, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Hau Giang Province Tran Van Huyen, and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Soc Trang Province Ho Thi Cam Dao, warmly welcomed the the CAND Newspaper’s delegation and briefed the guests on the local economic, social development, and security and defense situation in recent years.
Leaders of the Hau Giang and Soc Trang Provincial Party Committees praised and highly appreciated the role and responsibilities of the CAND Newspaper in general and its Representative Office in Mekong Delta in particular in disseminating the guidelines and policies of the Party and State, while fully and truly reflection activities of the local authorities, police and people in safeguarding national security and maintaining social order and safety, and stepping up local socio-economic development during the past time.
Leaders of the two provinces also hoped that, in the coming time, the CAND Newspaper will strengthen its position as the mouthpiece of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security.
At the meeting, leaders of Hau Giang and Soc Trang Provincial Party Committees also congratulated CAND Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Pham Khai on his recent promotion to Major General signed by the State President.
Speaking at the event, Major General Pham Khai thanked the leadership of Hau Giang and Soc Trang Province for their warm welcome, and congratulated the achievements in all fields that the localities have recorded in the past time.
Major General Pham Khai also assigned the representative office of the Newspaper in the Mekong Delta and the reporter in charge of the region to strengthen coordination with local functional units, especially the police forces, to promptly reflect activities and achievements of the local police units as well as the local political, economic and social situation.
