Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung attends enlistment events in Ha Tinh
During his visit to Ha Tinh province, Deputy Minister of Public Security Major General Le Quoc Hung attended several enlistment events in the province.
In Cam Xuyen district, Deputy Minister Hung attended an event to see off over 150 local young people who will join military and police services.
The Deputy Minister and his entourage then paid tribute to late Party General Secretary Ha Huy Tap at his memorial site in Cam Hung commune, Cam Xuyen district. They also visited and offered incense at the National Youth Volunteer Martyrs' Stele dedicated to some 4,000 young martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the national liberation, as well as the collective grave of the 10 fallen heroines at Dong Loc junction.
The delegation also laid a wreath at the tomb of late Party General Secretary Tran Phu.
Later, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung attended an enlistment event held at the Ha Tinh provincial police’s headquarters. The event saw a number of local youths joining the Public Security Forces.
Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Ministry of Public Security’s leadership, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung asked the Ha Tinh Provincial Police Department in coordination with related units to take care of the local families with their children doing national service in the Public Security Forces. He stressed, the support from local authorities for those who do national service help them better perform their duties.
