Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung attends year-end conference of Department of Criminal Records and Archives

Deputy Minister Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung chaired an event held by the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on December 29 to review the task performance of the criminal records and archives sector.

In 2022, under the direction of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, and thanks the coordination of other agencies and units, the criminal records and archives sector successfully completed its basic tasks according to the working schedule and targets set by the Ministry of Public Security.

The Department of Criminal Records and Archives was honored with the “Excellent Emulation” Flag by the Prime Minister, while various police officers and subunits were rewarded by authorities of various levels.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung applauded the achievements of the criminal record and achieves sector in 2022.

He also suggested that the Department of Criminal Records and Archives should pay more attention to Party building and force building.

They should expand coordination with relevant units to develop the National Population Database on. The department was also asked to strengthen inspection of criminal record and achieves work of the local police units.
