Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen pays working visit to Kien Giang and An Giang
Major General Le Van Tuyen, Deputy Minister of Public Security, leading a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) visited and worked with the Provincial Police Departments of An Giang and Kien Giang.

Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen was accompanied by Major General Bui Quang Hai, Vice Head of the MPS Office, Senior Colonel Nguyen Minh Tuan, Vice Director of the Finance and Planning Department.
Leaders of the two provinces’ governments also attended the meetings between the MPS delegation and key cadres of the two Provincial Police Departments.

At separate meetings, representatives from each Provincial Police Department briefed the delegates on the local police’s land management and use situations and reported on their difficulties in logistics and finance for local police’s operations as well as in the construction of local police units’ headquarters.
Leaders from relevant units under the MPS responded to questions raised by officers from the two police departments.

Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen acknowledged the effort of the local police in the past time, and shared with their difficulties in logistics and finance work, and especially in construction of new headquarters.
Regarding the management of land, buildings and assets, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen requested the two Provincial Police Departments to work closely with relevant agencies of the Ministry of Public Security, provincial departments and branches and then advise leaders of the Ministry of Public Security on plans to appropriately allocate land, buildings and assets to local police units.
The Deputy Minister also hoped that leaders of Kien Giang and An Giang provinces would pay attention to and create favorable conditions for the two Provincial Police Departments to effectively manage and use housing, land and public assets.
