Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc works with southern police on COVID-19 control

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc asked the Southern police forces should be prepared for all situations.
Southern All provincial-level police departments and relevant under-ministerial agencies should strictly follow the minister’s direction on COVID-19 prevention and control while launching emulation movements among the police and local people to seriously implement social distancing and stay-at-home regulations as well as turn residential areas into “fortress” against COVID-19 pandemic.
The deputy minister also required all police units to implement plans in line with the situation and handle emerging issues in the localities.
He requested all public security agencies and units at all levels to proactively grasp the situation and report on information related to the pandemic and public order and security.
According to him, it is necessary to actively apply information technology application and appropriately use human resources to improve the efficiency of work.
