General To Lam, Minister of Public Security, on April 4, had a meeting with Inspectorate under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) to discuss the inspection work.
According to reports delivered by leaders of the inspectorate at the event, in recent time, Inspectorate under the Ministry of Public Security advised the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security’s leaders to conduct inspections of nationwide public security agencies and units’ task performances while effectively settling complaints and denunciations from the citizens in accordance with the laws.
The Inspectorate has also guided public security units and agencies across the country to receive and handle citizens’ petitions and protect their legitimate rights and interests.
Addressing the meeting, Minister To Lam praised the good performance of all officers of the Inspectorate over the past time.
He asked the Inspectorate to continue to perfect the system of legal documents on inspection work, and proactively prevent and early detect any violations of public security officers and soldiers so that their minor shortcomings will not become serious ones.
