More policemen deployed to Ho Chi Minh City
The Department of Traffic Police and the Command of Mobile Police sent more forces to Ho Chi Minh City to support pandemic prevention and fighting efforts in the city.

The new enforcements, including 37 traffic policemen, 310 mobile policemen and 24 officers from the Criminal Police Department, will work at 12 checkpoints around the city.
All officers will be tested for SARS-CoV-2 weekly.
The police officers are in charge of checking all people and vehicles passing by, ensuring security and order at the checkpoints, and conduct epidemiological investigation of people with COVID-19-like symptoms.
In addition to dissemination of health regulations, the police will strictly handle violations according to their functions and power.
They will guard, prevent and trace all people escaping from quarantine facilities and hand them to the health authorities.
