More public security medical workers sent to southern provinces
40 doctors and nurses from the 19-8 Hospital, the 199 Hospital, and the Hospital of Traditional Medicine under the Ministry of Public Security were deployed to southern provinces, on October 12 and 13 in support of the local efforts to control COVID-19.

Although the COVID-19 pandemic in southern provinces is basically controlled, Ho Chi Minh City still have a large number of infection cases, which requires more medical workers to treat and care for patients.
Since July 5, 2021, hundreds of medical officers of the People's Public Security Forces have volunteered to go to Southern localities to fight the COVID-19.
The 40 newly-deployed public security doctors and nurses are expected to work at Phuoc Loc field hospital located in Nha Be district, Ho Chi Minh City.
