MPS leaders join enlistment events in Hanoi, HCMC
PSNews - Leaders of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on February 16 attended enlistment in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).
Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To attended an enlistment event in Thanh Tri district, Hanoi, which saw a number of local youths joining the military and Public Security Forces.
On the morning of the same day, 30 districts and towns in Hanoi held similar events to hand over local youths as enlistees to military and public security units.
All enlistees from Hanoi had been tested negative for COVID-19 and fully vaccinated against the disease before being handed over to military and public security units.

The event at the Military Command of District 12 saw the presence of Politburo Member and Secretary of the HCMC Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen, Deputy Minister of Public Security Major General Nguyen Van Long; Commander of the HCMC Military Command Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nam among representatives from local police and authorities.
Over the past years, the HCMC at large and District 12 have always ensured the quantity and quality of young citizens joining the armed forces.
In 2022, District 12 selected young people with good health, qualifications and morals to join the People’s Army and Public Security Forces.
