Public Security Forces of Vietnam host sport exchange with Royal Malaysian Police and Singapore Police

The Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam hosted a Sports Exchange Program between the Public Security Forces of Vietnam, the Royal Malaysian Police and the Singapore Police, on the morning of December 28, in Hanoi.

Chairman of the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association and Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang attended and delivered a keynote speech.

Present at the program were leaders from local ministries, departments and branches as well as representatives from the Malaysian Embassy and Singapore Embassy. 

More than 120 officers from the sports delegations of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, the Royal Malaysian Police and the Singapore Police participated in volleyball and soccer events.

The friendly sports program between the Vietnamese People's Public Security Forces, the Royal Malaysian Police and the Singapore Police was one of a series of activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Malaysia (March 30, 1973 - March 30, 2023), between Vietnam and Singapore (August 1, 1973 - August 1, 2023).

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang said that the large number of participating athletes from the Sports Delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, the Royal Malaysian Police and the Singapore Police demonstrated the solidarity, friendship and mutual support of the law enforcement forces of the three countries for a peaceful, stable and prosperous ASEAN.
