Vietnam, Belarus agree to promote cooperation in judicial field
Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc received a high-level delegation of the National Committee for Judicial Assessment of the Republic of Belarus led by Vice Chairman Evmenenko Sergei Alexandrovich during its visit to Vietnam, on the afternoon of November 22, in Hanoi.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc emphasized that the cooperation agreement in the judicial field between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the National Committee for Judicial Assessment of the Republic of Belarus laid a firm foundation for the cooperation between the two agencies.
The Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam has developed a specific plan to realize cooperation contents of the deal.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc also suggested that the two sides alternately host meetings at the deputy ministerial level to review cooperation results, discuss orientations for future cooperation, exchange information and experience in criminal examination techniques.
The Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam wished the Belarusian side to build capacity of its criminal examination experts, contributing to implementing its Project "Modernization of criminal technical work by 2025 of the People's Public Security Forces", and jointly hold training for criminal assessors of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam.
For his part, Mr. Evmenenko Sergei Alexandrovich sincerely thanked Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc for warmly welcoming the delegation.
He said, he hoped that the cooperation and relations between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the National Committee for Judicial Assessment of the Republic of Belarus will continue to develop and achieve more practical results, contributing to safeguarding national security and ensuring social order and safety in each country.
