MPS holds conference on international cooperation in fighting human trafficking
The Department of Foreign Relations under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) coordinated with the Municipal Police Department of HCM City and relevant units to hold the second conference on raising efficiency of international cooperation in prevention and combat of human trafficking on February 21.
The video-conference saw international delegates and representatives from relevant ministries and units as well as functional agencies of provinces and cities which share border with Laos and Cambodia.
The two-day event focused on 3 main discussions. During the event, delegates listened to in-depth reports delivered by domestic and international experts and participated in specialized discussions on approaches to improve the efficiency of international cooperation in prevention and combat of human trafficking.
The outcomes of the conference would significantly contribute to the implementation of the national action plan on prevention and combat of human trafficking in the 2021-2025 period.
